YOHAK DESIGN STUDIOは、スペース／プロダクト／グラフィック／サウンド＆ヴィジュアル／ランゲージ／エクスペリエンスなどの様々なエレメントを縦横につなげて、これからのスタンダードをつくるデザインコレクティヴです。
Experience things that have yet to be defined. Look at things that everyone has overlooked. Delight in things that you don’t understand clearly. Try putting a new frame around things that don’t belong anywhere—things that are “still ???” YOHAK DESIGN STUDIO is a design collective that takes various elements, such as space, product design,graphics, sound and visuals, language, and experience, and connects them together to set the new standards of creative design.

Redefining context
YOHAK DESIGN STUDIO is made up of in-house designers from KOKUYO Co., Ltd.
With the aim of creating a society where everyone can be true to themselves, we at KOKUYO, inheriting KOKUYO’s DNA that has inspired people in every aspect of work and lifestyle, value contextual design that crosses the boundaries from things to experiences.
Our mission is to add a different perspective to what already exists and discover new meanings, to bring about an updated sense of value that goes beyond problem solving.
体験からデザインする
道具も環境も、誰かに使われてこそ。どのように関わり、何を感じるか。その瞬間、どんな体験が立ち上がってくるのかに想いを馳せ、形にあらわすことがヨハクデザインスタジオのデザインの根幹です。
さまざまな領域のクリエイティブが有機的に集い、ホリスティックな体験を編み紡いでいくこと。目に見えたり手に触れられるものだけでなく、温度感や空気感、気分までをも想像しながら、あくまでシャープに、わかりやすく。鮮烈かつ親しまれるデザインはそんなスタンスから生まれると信じています。
Designing from experiences
Tools and the environment can truly come to life when they are used by someone. While considering how people engage with them and what emotions they experience, we also reflect on the kinds of experiences that emerge in those moments of interaction. This thoughtful expression of those moments is at the core of YOHAK DESIGN STUDIO’s design philosophy.
Creativity in various fields is organically linked to weave a holistic experience. The work is performed in a sharp, easy-to-understand manner, imagining not only what can be seen and touched, but also the temperature, atmosphere, and even mood of the design. We believe that designs that are both vivid and familiar are born from such a stance.

たとえそれがプロトタイピングやコンセプトワークでも、私たちのアウトプットはすべて社会に実装されることを前提としています。実験を自らの内に閉じ込めず、社会に開いていくことが新しいスタンダードを作っていくことになるからです。

シンクオブシングスやコピー・コーナーは、誰もが訪れて集うことのできる場であり、創造性が交感するメディアでもあります。数多のインプットとアウトプットを循環させながら、人々の生活や社会のあらましを少しずつ、絶え間なく更新していく活動体がヨハクデザインスタジオです。
Going back and forth between experimentation and practice
All of our output, even if it is prototyping or concept work, is intended to be implemented in society. By not keeping experiments to ourselves, but opening them up to society, we will be able to create new standards.
THINK OF THINGS and COPY CORNER, which we produce and operate, are places where anyone can visit and gather, as well as a medium where creativity can interact. YOHAK DESIGN STUDIO is an active entity that constantly and gradually updates the state of people’s lives and society through a cycle of numerous inputs and outputs.
