FRUITFUL SOCKS

HOMME PLISSÉ ISSEY MIYAKE SPRING SUMMER 2024 "FRUITFUL SOCKS"のパッケージデザインとプロモーションコンテンツのアートディレクション。畳むとフルーツのように見える靴下を、フルーツ段ボールを模したギフトボックスに収められ、ローラーコンベアに見立てた回転する円柱の上を通りすぎていく、架空の工場で淡々と生産する様子を描いています。どれも同じくらいの抽象性を保ち、どこか夢の中のような印象を作るためローラーコンベアはトリックアートの手法を用いています。

Art direction for the packaging design and promotional content of HOMME PLISSÉ ISSEY MIYAKE SPRING SUMMER 2024 “FRUITFUL SOCKS.” These socks, which resemble fruit when folded, are packaged in a gift box designed to look like a fruit carton box. The work depicts an imaginary factory where they are steadily produced as they pass over rotating cylinders, reminiscent of a roller conveyor. To maintain a consistent level of abstraction and create a dreamlike atmosphere, a trick art technique is used for the roller conveyor.
